A New Friend

In the bushes I can see, A cat there staring at me. Its fur is dark, its eyes they gleam, Its hunting something or so it seems. Out of the dark it gracefully stalks, Following me it as I walk. I head inside and grab some milk, It waits outside, its head a tilt. I return with the milk in a bowl, It looks at me with a grateful soul. So now it seems I have a new friend, A loving bond that will never end.

I can't stop.

I can't stop thinking about him. I see him and my heart takes off, my head starts to dream and I'm in his arms. We're dancing. I drown in his eyes, but he is not mine. I replay in my head what I did. I could have this, should have that. But I shy away and blush in the dark. He's happy with her, she's happy with him. Who am I to break the happiness of friends. So I suffer quietly even though my heart wants to scream, I can't stop thinking about him.

I can't seem to make it.

I keep trying and I have yet to make another thing. Ever audition I go in with high hopes and thenI know I have a soft voice. I'm trying to fix that. But is that the only problem. Do I have any talent? I'm so tired. I'd cry right now if my roommate wasn't here
